About Eyes of a Dragon

Welcome to Eyes of a Dragon!

“The only real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes; in seeing the universe through the eyes of another, one hundred others – in seeing the hundred universes that each of them sees.”
Marcel Proust

This is an extension of my ‘Memoirs of a Dragon‘ poetry blog but is dedicated solely to my photographs! These silver infused memories are each patiently awaiting the whispers of my Muse to come alive with poetry. Once tethered with theme, they will then join my other digital scratchings. There will be no specific order, no special reason and no intended purpose other than to simply …. exist as what this Dragon found interesting at some point in time.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, and my Muse is feeling generous, then I will be forever grateful for her small, open, shared handful of verse.

Thank you for visiting!

  2. Nice.

I’m trying to paste in a picture but I’m having no luck. I have a short but intense attention span for such things. So just know that, once upon a time, I wanted to share a picture of the vain on my hand that appeared when I saw a dragon in my dreams. It looks just like a dragon.

And then something shiny caught my eye…

    • I would be honoured if you shared your dragon vision with me! You have an incredibly personal blog!

      • Yes, I started it at a time when I figured that I had nothing left to lose and I was ready to flay myself and see what happened. (Nothing 🙂

Your blog is no less personal, if not as self-exposing. But I have no idea how to share a picture with you. I’m still trying to figure out your story.

        • I started writing poetry last June, simply because I had never written anything before, and I ….. surprised myself! That, and life events that left me with a profound sense of sadness, are hinted at throughout. Good luck figuring out my story – I am stuck figuring it out myself! 🙂

          • Plus, I know whose blogs you’ve been reading, which gives hints and clues… You’re thousands of miles away and safely anonymous, so if you’d like to communicate/commiserate, drop me a line and let me know your email. If not, then keep writing. You’re contributing here!

          • Hints and clues…pieces of a puzzle that has no edges! There are so many ASTONISHINGLY good writers out there, it is always humbling to read their fine words. Glad you found some of them through my blog! I am always amazed that anyone reads my ‘digital scratchings’ so thank you for noticing them!
            Greg
